Every success has a great story behind it, and Willow Ranch Restaurant in Buttonwillow, California is no exception. The owners are Leland and Debbie Scott.
After feeling it was time for a change, Leland left farming and Debbie left her florist shop for a new adventure. Having the knowledge of great farm fresh food, they started a small farmer’s deli. Word of the great food spread like a wild fire on a hot August day and soon lines were always out the door. They so quickly outgrew the facilities at the deli that they decided to branch out and start the Willow Ranch Restaurant.
The centerpiece of the Willow Ranch is our distinctive house barbeque sauce. Travelers and barbeque aficionados from all over have enjoyed our secret recipe and we regularly ship it nationwide. It was perfected years ago by Leland and his brother, Bobby Scott, through countless family barbeques, and recipe wranglins’. We’re not sure who won, but the barbeque sauce is phenomenal.
The Willow Ranch was so named to pay homage to the community we live in and serve, Buttonwillow. The whole family pitches in tireless hours catering, at the restaurant or at the raceway to assure every patron leaves well satisfied. Many come to enjoy the family atmosphere and look forward to the occasional sightings of the grandchildren.
